A Milwaukee bus driver on Thursday was acknowledged for her swift-thinking when she noticed a child final month questioning barefoot and alone on the aspect of a freeway overpass.

Irena Ivic, the bus driver, noticed that child at round eight a.m. on Dec. 22. The child was sporting onsie and a diaper in below-freezing climate. The video was captured by as seen in a Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS).

Ivic stopped her bus and ran towards the kid, in line with the MCTS. She introduced the newborn into the bus and one other passenger lent her a jacket.

“Oh my God, I am shaking,” Ivic is seen within the video telling passengers, as she held the newborn in her arms.

Authorities arrived on the bus and had been later capable of reunite the newborn together with her father, Hasan Ali Abdul Kasim, Fox 6 Milwaukee reported. Kasim advised the station he believes his spouse, who he mentioned has a psychological sickness, took the newborn to the church throughout the freeway and forgot about him.
